Bye Bye Broadcast Flag

I have ZERO time to post right now, but I had to make an exception for this:
The DC Circuit Court has just released its ruling in the lawsuit filed against the broadcast flag: it unanimously struck it down!

Ernest Miller provides myriad links to reporting on and reactions to the ruling, from across the media and blogosphere: "Victory in Broadcast Flag Case!"

UPDATE: Of course, despite the title to this post, we've probably not really seen the end of the broadcast flag. The court-ruling means that the FCC can't act in this way without explicit Congressional authorization-- so the MPAA is writing legislation to get that authorization, and maybe more, Ernest Miller reports.
